Description
Studio Apartment (T0) for Investment in Estrela / Rua de São Ciro
This 35sqm studio apartment, located on the first floor, has recently undergone an interior renovation. However, some walls show signs of water infiltration, likely originating from the building's façade and/or the unit above.
Following an inspection by the Lisbon City Council, it was determined that the building is not safe for occupancy due to structural issues.
The owners have decided, via a condominium assembly, to proceed with the necessary repairs to address the building's structural problems; they are currently in the process of obtaining cost estimates. As of now, there is no finalized budget for the work, so it is not yet possible to determine the specific cost share for this unit (which holds a 160‰ ownership stake).
Situated in a central, residential area of Lisbon-between Estrela and Lapa-the property enjoys a prime setting, close to the Jardim da Estrela, the Basílica da Estrela, and the Campo de Ourique neighborhood. The surrounding area offers a wide range of shops, restaurants, and services, along with excellent public transport links and easy access to other key parts of the city.
The location is set to benefit further from the new Estrela Metro station-currently under construction near the Basílica and the Jardim da Estrela-which is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2027. This will significantly enhance the area's accessibility and its potential for appreciation in value.
Please contact me for further information or to schedule a viewing.
